lowering springs questions / winter tires

if u lower an 09 3.5 SE coupe (18" wheels) w/ new springs and all that good stuff, then winter comes and decide to swap on 16" steel wheels, will the springs need to be taken out and reset? or would the ride height remain the same regardless of the new wheel size?

It all depends on your tire sizes

If the diamater of your steel wheels + tire is the same as your current setup, then it will be fine.
