Now I found some pretty good Eibach lowering springs for about $260, depending on what site you visit. This set of springs gives you a 1.4" drop in the front and a 0.8" drop in the back.

As of yesterday I found some Tein lowering springs for $270, for a 1.7" drop in the front and a 1.1" drop in the rear. But when I go to put my submodel of Altima, it says they are not compatible with the 2.5S, but they'll fit on a 2.5SL?? Can someone please clarify. As in, is there a suspension difference between the S and the SL?? Even if they are both have the 2.5 engine?? Help please!!

As far as I know the tein springs only fit the 3.5 V6 altima.

Really? But it gives the option to buy them for a 2.5 SL, but not the 2.5 S

The springs will fit all models of the Gen 4 Altima Sedan. 2.5S and 2.5SL is just an option package for stereo/interior. Nothing mechanically different. The 3.5 V6 springs will work just fine as well regardless if they are listed or not.

I have the TEIN S-Techs on my 2012 2.5SL right now.

Thank you very much for that man. Really helped me. I need the lowest possible, haha.
