Post

Hello there, I have been searching and reading a big number of posts in the forum and have a few different ideas. But I would like to have more personalized answer to my questions. (2008 Altima Coupe 2.5 SE Black)

Image

1, My car is pretty much stock except for the wheels (18"). I see that the front is higher than the back and I would like it to look better (even). I was looking at the Eibach lowering springs. Will these make my car look even? Have anyone install these on their coupe? Please show me some pictures.

Image

2, also I would like to change the front fascia and I'm trying to decided on just the front lip or full bumper. Any suggestions. (Pictures)

Eibach springs lowers the front 1.4" and and back 1"
They're pretty popular here, so just search Eibach and I'm sure you can find some pics.

I've had Eibach's for awhile and have been happy with them other than the fact that I want coils now.

crazy question but has anyone ever combined two different set of springs? Like Eibachs in front and, if you want the rear to be lower, Teins or H&R springs

Haha sorry man. I know you put a lot of money into their parts too.

I've always thought about this. Or getting two "fronts" for an even 1.4" drop all around. But I doubt a company would mess up their inventory for such a one off request.

Not really crazy talk lol. people will do anything to achieve the lowest height. Alex is using 2 different coils on fronts/rears, and his coupe is by far the lowest coupe out there :dblthumb:

I think a lip adds just enough aggression to the front fascia. And eibach are by far the most popular, but man did the teins look good on Uhfive's coupe.

Coil overs are always an option too. You'll eventually have to replace your struts anyway with springs.

Stillen front Fascia + Stillen front splitter OR Stillen front lip!

I have Eibachs in front and OEM in the back, and I love it this way!

Image

It's not very low, but that's exactly what I was after. Lowered look + no scraping!

You're pretty much limited to 3 setups or maybe more as a 2008 model.

Stillen front fascia.

Stillen Lip + C-mod.

Extreme dimensions GTR concept front fascia. [most don't recommend this due to fitment and quality issues]

As for pictures, there are tons of them on the forum...soooo start searching buddy

It's crazy how much of a difference kits can make. Larger wheels with smaller sidewalls would be perfect! Looks good though. Are there regulations in dubai against showing certain companies' brands? I see you blacked out your wheels' center caps

lol
I put a black sticker in there because the original color is red and white.. and I blacked them in all the pictures, I don't want to see that logo ever again. (Lesno)

I have different wheels now (Bronze Rotas), but they're still 17s. I don't want to have bigger wheels, because if I do, I have to get smaller tires, which means worse ride quality. :nono:

Sorry about jacking the thread OP

Those 17's look adorable... I like the extreme rake!

I also have a Frankenstein setup.

I have BC coils in the front and Eibach springs in the back (BC coil overs were too stiff in the rear, and BC springs are super noisy)

Works great for me so far

If you want to go lower.... get coils... you can generally find used coils for around $600-700 for a set.
But keep in mind it will be much stiffer ride.

I shared the idea of running Coils in the front and keeping my eibachs in the back and i was laughed at
My rear is sitting perfectly IMO. and dont wanna be too bouncy.
You sir have the look im going for. FUNCTION FTW!

Thanks haha it only works for me because my stance aspirations are humble compared to yours!

It works great! I can barely notice a difference in handling in the hills, and the BC rears were just unbearable. I also have the Stillen RSB keeping things tidy back there.

I also had to completely rebuild the front coil overs... So it's still a pain.
