Lowering springs and STruts set to Coilovers

hello, first off all i apologize to everyone who thinks this may sound like the usual springs post, but what are forums for?? hehe, anyways, i was wonderning, can u match ANY aftermarket springs with ANY aftermarket struts??

and when u do, what are their settings equivalent to??

for instance, eibach springs pro kit, or tanabe 2inch drop

add those to KYB gas shocks (those are like the only i know of hehe are there others??)

and how would u rate the dampening, etc. as compared to full coilovers, like would they be like a setting 10 or something?? i hope this makes sense!! if not ask questions and i will try to elaborate!!

the kyb agxs are 4 way adjustable in the front and 8 way in the rear

I don't think you answered his question, he askes for compatibility, not product details. I know what you mean but sorry I don't have an answer at this moment.

There are no "requirements" as to which struts should be used with which springs. However, there is also no determination as to what combo is the best either, the "feel" of your suspensions always ends up being somewhat subjective.

DriftMachine did answer a question, just not all of the questions. So good job telling someone the create a useless post when they didn't, and you did...

For definitive specs on each strut you'd most likely have to call the companies up themselves. However, the agxs are adjustable, were produced to be used with a beefier, lower than stock spring.

Yes, they should all be interchangable based on your YEAR and MODEL car. Aftermarket parts are designed to replace OEM ones, so the maker doesnt know if you are using stock coils with your performance adjustable shocks or Sprint springs.

Now as far as lowering height, this is for the S13: Eibach ProKit .75" Eibach Sportline 1.75" Suspension Tech 1.00" Sprint 2.00" H&R 1.25" HKS 1.50"

Im sure i left some out, but this is a start anyway.
