I'm considering lowering my Versa, but had a couple questions first. I am looking at the Tanabe NF210 springs which offer a 1.5" drop. Is a camber kit required? If so, who makes one? Second...how is the ride quality, especially with 4 people in the car?

Thanks!!

Thanks for your input. Did you have your alignment checked after installing the springs?

I have put over 20K miles on my tires since lowering it with no adverse tire wear

when changing suspension components ALWAYS have the alignment checked! you shouldn't have any issues. my V isn't lowered (yet ) but my 04 Sentra is, and no tire problems. you should be fine, go for it.

With just a 1.5" drop the stock alignment adjustment should be able to cover the amount of camber you need. The coilover setup on the car may be a whole other issue, haven't seen anyone with those yet though.

yeah, get your alignment done, its worth it though, helps tire wear, any who definatly lower the car, it doesnt look like a minivan after, ive been getting complements ever since, look at codereds how to, its real good, and beware the doing the front, back takes 20 min, the front takes a while, spray it w pb blaster before you do it and let it sit for an hour

Installed the springs and had the car aligned, so far very pleased! Camber was fine, the only adjustment that was out of spec after lowering was the toe. Car looks 100 times better!

I had one other question reguarding the bumpstops. Tanabe recommends cutting 15-25 mm off them, but I didn't. So far no problems with bottoming out. Did anyone cut theirs?
