Hello,

I was wondering about this for a while now; is you change the springs lowering the car from 1" to 1.5", this means that the spring are shorter the same lenght, right?

What about the shocks?

does this make the shocks being compressed the same lenght all the time?

is it necessary to change to different shocks?

The struts will be fine. Most of the cars that lower 1 to 1.5" dont have the spring rate increased so much that you need a firmer strut and the ride height change isn't enough to need a strut with a short stroke to it. If you are getting a set of Eibach's or the NF series from Tanabe you don't need to change them and the increased handling performance probably won't be noticeable to anyone that's not racing.

Just like wings said. As a side note Eibach engineered their springs around the stock shocks.
