I just bought a 1995 240sx and I am having trouble with headroom. I am 6 ft 3 and need to sit lower in the car. Any advice to how I could lower the stock seat a couple of inches?

I just lean the seat back... You could look for an extra low racing seat, i seem to remember seeing something like that. I'm 6' 1" and my head's just about on the roof with the seat upright.

You think there is any way to modify the stock seat rail to make it sit lower?

And to intrepret his "answer", Bride makes Low Max seat rails that will lower the seat by about 2 inches. But I am not sure if they will work with anything but Bride seats.

Would you be able to bolt an aluminum plate the bottom of the seat and drill holes in the plate and then bolt the Bride Low Max seat rails to the plate? Would this be safe?
