i know this is some noob stuff, but please NO FLAMING...thanks
ok, so i just put a set of Intrax springs on my S13. i have stock struts, stock tire size (195/60/R15), ES sway bar bushings, and no other suspension mods. camber is set according to stock height and so is toe. are the alignment specifications brand specific? i searched a bit and got confused. will lowering my car and not getting the camber and toe adjusted after it is lowered make it easier for the car to hydroplane? because before i lowered it, i could drive 70 in the rain and not have any problems. but i just drove home in the rain at 60 and i could feel my tires floating/hydroplaning. has anyone else had this happen to them? or am i just trippin?

on a separate but kinda relevant note, in order to get it aligned at my school for free my prof told me that he needs certain specs from the spring company in order to align it...so where could i go for the specs? I emailed them, but no response yet. thank you in advance for any feedback.

I've never heard of this happening nor has it happened to me. Just get it aligned again and things should be fine. The company is where to get the spring rates and such.

Nah, you should be fine. The toe will make the car feel pretty loose but you're not slamming it, so it probably won't be noticeable. But keep in mind, the more surface area of the tire touching the pavement, the better the chance of hydroplaning.

If your alignment is correct, and running on stock tire size, it should not matter how close to or far away from the ground the body sits.

I've never been much of a suspension tuner, but as far as setting alignment for every day driving, I'm not sure spring rates will affect static alignment. If you are cornering in the rain at high speed, then it probably matters. I think you should be fine.

I'm sure you figured this out, but, running wide tires will increase hydroplaning.

Get an alignment.
Doing anything to your suspension changes the alignment.

Get an alignment...but I have no idea why you would need specs from the spring manufacturer. Just go with stock specs or whatever custom specs you are looking for.

you need the specs for the spring rates to match up your shocks or struts for the wieght of the car and driver abilitys...to low a spring rate and your tires may bounce around like a basket ball...to stiff and you wont have proper weight dist when braking and cornering..it is truly a science to dial it incorrectly and match components acuratly
