I did this to my 07- I used Tein S Techs. Loved it for about 3 months and now I hate the hell out of it.

The drop did a nice job or cleaning up the gaps and it did lead to better stance overall. The ride degraded too much for me, I found that the tire wear was ridiculous - even after three alignments.

After the third alignment I was told that the right way to lower a car and optimize the ride quality, alignment and improve tire wear was to replace the suspension all the way around. Going to a proper coil over system and then having the suspension tuned is the only way to go. Not sure about the effect of new control arms will have on the set up.

Good luck

Thanks for the reply I believe what I've been reading is that those you need to replace the camper front and back control; arms to keep the stock alignment this will help with tire wear also i'm looking at the Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs no the Tein S Tech I'll wait to see what more has to say
