I was the first out of the bunch here to go for the lowering springs. One thing to also look into is change your struts and shocks depending on how many miles you are, cause you might as well do the job when your taking it all apart to put springs in. If you are looking to do this, get KYB GR-2's for struts and KYB Gas-a-just for the shocks. The lowering springs may seem expensive but they are actually cheaper than buying all four OEM springs from courtesy parts. If you are changing out your struts and shocks, there are some parts that i would recommend you would get to change out, like certain bolts etc. Now as for the springs, if your looking for some awesome handling on an SUV like the path, i recommend doing this as you will not be disappointed. I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata LX limited sedan, now the rides made more for comfort so the springs are kind of soft, but its still low, you cant take turns nowhere near as fast as with the path, especially if you take the turn wrong with the sonata it will throw you out. Another thing to watch for when you do this is rail road crossing, potholes, and uneven road spots, because you will be in on a surprise when you go over an uneven railroad crossing and you head will be in the roof, (at least the one near where i live lol). What else can i tell you, well if you dont really know cars, it wont catch your eye that the path is lowered unless you have rims on it. I love my path now with the suspension because sometimes people think they can leave you in the dust on a curvy road, they thought wrong cause your right on there a**. Nice story i have about a guy following me in a new mercedes ml550 suv which is a 55-60k suv and the one right before the AMG verison. Well its a nice curvy road by where i live and he was sitting on my rear. So i take him for a spin and i left him in the dust through the curves. Its nice to watch. Well i guess that should be a good review for it, so if you dont mind the ride being a little rougher, and thats only on bad roads and stuff, on a good road, the rides great, and want extremely good handling for an SUV i say get these 2" lowering coils and you wont regret it.
