Ok so it's been a long time coming but I can't take the wheel gap on my M35X my current setup is
245/35/20 stock struts. I'm looking for a small drop Tein H techs springs does any one have these on there 2007 M35x with stock camber I here this shouldn't be an issue I just don't know a lot about dropping a car this would be my first

Thanks

Tein's won't work right. As far as I can tell the options for the X are either the Espilir springs or coilovers.

Unfortunately you are stuck with the Espilir springs as jigs mentioned above. I got the D2 coilovers on my X and am still struggling to get that factory ride feeling. I tried a few different stiffness settings and they were either too bouncy or too stiff. I think the kg/in on the springs are a bit too high compared to factory. There are pros and cons to coilovers on daily drivers such as adjusting the height with some effort. For example my first install I discovered it was way too low. I also discovered that the suspension arms geometry naturally pulled the top of the front wheels drastically in (It's a good design because when compressed you would want that motion to keep the tires flat with the ground). So front adjustable camber upper control arms are a must dropping it any lower than 1". My factory tires have major uneven wear now and before I replace them I will be thinking about either raising it up once again or getting the adjustable arms. The rears are not soo bad.
The second thing I noticed after lowering and having the arms naturally pull the wheels inward is the awful looking pulled in look. I had to add 15mm DRM spacers which caused another issue specific to the spacers I chose (DRM vs DRS). DRM spacers are the kind that have new lugs plugged into the spacer itself and the mounting is offset via holes and your existing studs, however if the gap between your wheels is not deep enough you'll end up having to shave the factory studs right down to the nut. DRS spacers have an advantage because you replace your existing studs with new longer units and the spacer simply sits sandwiched between your wheel and hub (Hopefully it's hubcentric) I have a couple of DIY writeups in the FAQ above if you wish to explore this further.
Going with coilovers does have it's benefits over springs in that you can raise the car up to almost factory height. It also has it drawbacks such as having to completely remove the rear strut to adjust the compression/rebound.

Pick your poison carefully

^^ interesting. I'd trust SVARDs opinion...BUT...I didn't have any of those issues (as far as I could tell) with my BC coilovers on my 07 M. The only issue I had was that, after lowering, my stabilizer end links only lasted 5k...I was replacing those things at each oil change. Tried like 5 different brands, all of them failed prematurely. Also had alignments done, etc. Car was only lowered like 2".

I do not recall the 'sunken in' issue. My wheels where straight, but not as flush with the fenders as I would have liked.
