I have the Eibach Springs, but I'm having a difficult time finding a place to have them installed. The one place I could find that said they would do it, said that it would take four to five hours at $79/per. That sounds a bit excessive to me. Am I wrong or are they being unreasonable? I've done a lot of searching via the net and phonebook and I've made a lot of calls, but I haven't had much luck.

4 to 5 hours and 79/per hr, so is like $300 to $400....That is way too expensive........

I had my coilovers installed for $150, that was a little high, i was expecting between 100 to 130 but no one else wanted to do the job.

that is way too much. the spring can be setup in about a hour, maybe two tops. >_<

I work at a shop, and i know it isn't that long to install when you have the right tools. >_<

The rate sounds about right. Most mechanics of all trades down here charge about $69/hour. The amount of time it takes to put them in is kinda high. I think you would be able to put them in yourself in about the same amount of time they want to charge.

The front takes about 45-50 min tops with a good shop and the rear is so easy that should be done in about 25-30 min. anyone takes longer then that they must be trying to get one over on you, you should really look around as far as cost goes it should be about 1 1/2 - 2 hr in labor charges tops, you don't need to pay for someones lunch brakes unless its a dealership, in 4-5 hrs you could install the cold air, axle back, and get the spings on as well bro just look around don't get taken.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and advice. I definitely appreciate it. The rate sounded fine to me, it was the amount of labor that didn't sit so well. I've heard the rear is extremely easy to do as well as that since the car is new, that will make the job much easier because of not having to deal with rust.
