I tried searching a bit for information but didn't have any luck... Anyways, i'm getting ready to spend some more money on the I30 and seeing as i'm going to have to buy new rims again I thought i'd go ahead and buy some 18's and drop it a little while i'm at it. I've been looking around the net and so far i've just run across an 1" Eibach lowering kit with springs. I was wanting to see if you guys could give me a little insight on what I should be looking at, I assume that Maxima kits will work as well but wasn't sure. I'm not looking to get that slammed look, just a nice performance stance that will look good with 18's but still ride decent too. Any help would be greatly appreciated as usual!

Eibach's Pro-Kit works very well but you're gong to need to change the struts as well as the factory struts are not valved properly to handle a drop. H&R makes a kit too if I remember correctly but I'm not 100% certain. If you want to do the whole deal, get a Tein kit that comes with dampers and springs with a better spring rate. I had the Tein Basic Dampers on my 1998 Maxima and they performed beautifully and they made the 18s I had on it tuck nicely. Also, check out this thread for details and other members set-ups.
