Welcome aboard, Brian.

Folks are dropping there X's, but the only problem is, there is NO aftermarket support for shocks/struts. Most used the unvevised springs from a 350z. Drops the X about 1.4". The only concern with dropping the x, is that the shocks/struts will wear out alot faster because of the shorter spring and they will be under dampened. At least with the RWD sedan, there was a Sport Suspension, like I have, that accomodates shorter springs better. Tein S tech, H techs are also available, but will give even more of a drop. Lastly, making sure you can get the alignment close to specs is going to be tricky also.

Thanks, hopefully the 20's I just bought dont take on the look of SUV without lowering right away. I need to find someone that really knows their stuff before I go lowering this car. Thanks again

I gave you about as much info to decide whether or not you want to proceed, based on the fact there is NO aftermarket support for shocks/struts. Lowering the X has been done, but you can only use lowering springs. The only main problem is getting the alignment back into specs without having some crazy camber, life expectancy of your OEM shocks/struts and the car is going to handle/drive differently because you have put a shorter spring on a shock/strut that is not designed for lowering. When I was doing my research on lowering my G, I was told specifically, DO NOT put lowering springs on a G that doesn't at least have the sport tuned suspension. The X's, don't have sport tuned suspensions.
