wsup, here are my questions: When u lower cars, do u need to have the camber adjusted ?? or is it the toe?? or both??

and if u just get springs and struts u only need to correct the car once right??

with coilovers u need to correct everytime u adjust the height right??

how hard is it to adjust the camber, toe, etc.

also, when lowering, does it change the alignment as well??thanks~~

yeah, about camber adjustment, i have an option video where they show you how to do it with simple hand tools. i am still watching it over and over to get it right (it subtitled in english, but its still kinda tricky)

The front suspension has very little camber change when lowered. There is a small amount of slop in the front though where it could change the camber slightly, but both would be fairly negligible.

The rear may be a different story though. The multi-link rear incorporates a double wishbone set-up which changes camber more dramatically when you lower it. I've never mapped out the toe curve along the suspension travel on the 240, so I am not asolutely sure, but a toe change may occur. You shouldn't have any slop to account for since the shock/spring assembly is not a locating part of the rear suspension like the front is. other IRS designs like semi-trailing arms had issues with toe changes during suspension travel.

An alignment is not a bad idea though. I have one at least every tire change.

BTW, camber is not necessarily a bad thing. I run about 3 degrees Static in front and 2 in the rear. The 240 understeers hard at the limit since it rolls over onto the outside edge of the tire. The rear tends to stay in line. More camber will affect traction for braking and accellerating.

you also have to have the parts to ADJUST those settings. THe 240's dont have much of a camber adjustment or any at all(depends on year, with/without HICAS, etc).

Lowering should only affect camber. If you want to amek all the settings(camber, caster, toe) adjustable, go get some new front end parts like the battle version ones, CUSCO, etc.

phase 2 carries a few, enjuku racing and MVP motorsports all cary different suspension parts.

eibach springs offer 2,2 front and 2.1 rear lowering springs and something called an alignment kit is the alignment kit neccesary with eibach's lowering kit and if it is what does it do? adjust camber or toe or caster???
