Is it impossible to find springs in the US for a G50 Q45. I know most of the companies phased out the application ages ago. Anyone have some ideas. Just picked up a mint 1993 Q I am putting back on the road.

I did the Z32 suspension swap. One thing to know is that the rear Z32 struts will not lower the rear or the Q and will give you a hot rod/muscle car stance.Do what thejapino did in his rear and use the fronts.Or once again go with coilovers.

I had no problems lowering my rear. I didn't lower it more as I would have needed to roll the fenders.

If you search there is a guide on using the Z32 coilovers. If you don't mind having your front slammed 24/7, then it works great, i got sick of replacing tires and fixing s*** cause of debris on the road so i sold mine.

Edit yes there are adjustments you can make and buy uca to accomodate the camber but i didn't feel like it so selling was a better option for me at the time.

You can do it either way. thejapino's Q looks sick. Also, I'm about to go to air, and I might be willing to sell you my Eibach's. Cheap. Plus, you can always look for Espilir springs. Just some ideas.

I'll take pics tonight of my car.The OEM springs are used with new KYB just so you know your struts wont blow. The front drops to a 3-3.5inch off ground drop with in the front. If you put the OEM springs and rear Z32 strut it won't drop so like I said if you do that custom fabrication that thejapino did then your set.Or you can get Eibach sleeves.I went a cheap way on sleeves just because I can and damn is my car bouncy as hell. Just went sleeves in the rear and have OEM springs in front.Don't do what I did it's bad.I just did it so I don't bounce around.

My suggestion set up a deal with jitibbs and wait for the springs.Unless you wanna do the swap.

sounds like the best option for your needs is just waiting on some drop springs to pop up. for your goals the z32 coilovers are too much money, the z32 oem is just a bad idea, and * dampers with custom mounting sounds like too much work if you just want a mild drop.

Yeah gl.Most setups here will have their bads and good but just wait for springs is the best bet.

it's in his sig!!! I say if you got time and want to do a project go for the Z32 swap. Again the rear Z32 suspension won't drop the rear much except like .5in.Why?I dunno I still have hot rod stance with Z32 suspension in the rear.Best to get them leveled go with front Z32 in the front and rear.Read the threads and good luck.Putting Z32 lowering springs on the swap might drop it too low so I suggest getting Eibach coilover sleeves if you want to go lower but I doubt you will.Oh also you can use KYB GR-2 instead of OEM.

No worries about the springs. I just post my last two sets of ESPELIR for sale at the classified that I imported from Japan for PG50/G50 90-96.

I only have two sets available for sale so grab them while they are available.

z32 coilovers are cheap and easy to throw on if you are serious about lowering your car
