Hey everyone,
You can probably tell I am a noob to this forum and I am not afraid to admit it. I have been searching since I got my car about 2 months ago for information about lowering this baby. My 05 G35x has an inch and a half more wheel gap then I like and it's killing me. I have done my share of searching and calling but have found no solid answers backed up with facts. I need to lower my car without breaking the bank or my car itself :). Coilovers are overkill for a daily driver like mine, and dropping 1000 dollars before even looking into the rest of the suspension components is just rediculous to a kid like me. There are several sellers on eBay that claim their springs fit the coupe, and sedan G's in both RWD and AWD but I know that is not the case... I'm looking for someone who can help me out with this issue backed up with experience of their own or researchable facts/ specifications. I've heard the issue is with the front cambers in AWD sedans not being compatible with lowering springs, is this true? Are there parts I can swap out or upgrade to allow me to put lowering springs in my car? I really have no clue where else to turn for advice so hopefully someone here has attempted lowering a 2005 g35x sedan themselves. Thanks for the help, any advice, specifications, or sources of info would be appreciated.
