lowering 2006 M45, 1.6" front/1" rear. Will it rub????

Aftermarket wheels

20x9
38 offset
245/35/20

lower 1.6” in front, 1” in rear. You think it will be ok????

Eye balling your specs, I don't think so. Your tire width isn't that bad and your offset isn't either. You're probably fine. What are you lowering on?

Actually, I believe we did shave the rear a bit ... But not much

When you lower it you change the way everything sits and I've been driving and lowering /bagging cars for 20 years and the one thing I learned that is if you do it right the first time your golden. But don't forget it's going to settle a bit too and his tires are going to wear on the inside due to lowering unless you get a camber kit
