I took my car to the track and was racing it... Well when I would shift from 1st to second it would just drop in rpms ,even with my foot all the way down on the gas, til it just died. When I kick my car sidways it would do the same. Or lower the Rev limiter to 5100 rpms. Does my gas tank sound clogged to you? Everything fuel wise is new on that car... Has a brand new 300zx TT fuel filter, brand new walboro 255 on it. So its not anything like that. Just feels like its not putting enough fuel in that little tank part of my gas tank where the fuel pump is.... What do you guys think?

You need to check the fuel pressure. Tee-in a tempoarary fuel pressure gauge at the output side of the fuel filter. The readings at idle should be as follows:- with vacuum hose connected to the fuel pressure regulator: 33 psi- with vacuum hose disconnected from the fuel pressure regulator: 43 psi

It could also be a loose or bad connection at the fuel pump, I recall another person on this forum that had the exact same problem, and it ended up being a loose connection.

Have you checked your injectors? I know i had a problem w/ my car...i would constantly have the pedal to the floor and get barely anything, and whenever I cornered hard it would bog down. I put some fuel injector cleaner in it and it works like a jewel for now. (until i can get some nismo fuel injectors)
