So with the taller tires I should be actually measuring .6 from the lowest part, right?blindsnyper wrote:just measure 1.4 inch below the lowest part of the lip, if you think you will be going through snow deeper than that dont do it.
Yeah it is B.C we do not get that much snow here compared to what the East Coast ends up getting.VersaMG08 wrote:I'm not too concerned about the snow. I'm on Tanabe springs only 1.5" lower so it's not going to be a big issue. Just need to remember don't drive in deep snow and it will be alright.
no. no matter your tire size, you will lower it the car 1.4 inch (with tanabe springs).NODES wrote:

or did you already calculate my 50 series tires into your equation?
I just thought about it and yeah I now understand. Well time to get the measuring stick out and calculate things.blindsnyper wrote:

Thanks that is the answer I was looking for.williamk10 wrote:It sucks
you're going to get beached if you go down a small unplowed street following the tracks of the other cars.
Also, if the front wheels spin out (which they will), the car will go into limp mode so the wheels won't spin. This also means you can't power your way out of the snow even if you could get enough traction.
haha, really?? mine will let me spin all i wont.williamk10 wrote:
