I never thought 20 inch wheels would fit after lowering the car:

I think the car looks silly.

I like the lowered look but not that severe.

Its funny, as much as I like seeing all the cool wheels we all use there is something timeless about the stock look.

Guess I'm a [ ] (does that look like a square?)

Spent $2K on wheels and probably has never heard of chain guides.

"Engine sounds healthy"... Ummm, OK.

One pic shows what "looks like" a poor attempt to roll/pull the fender.

Assuming he maintained the ~26" overall diameter, there shouldn't be "fit" issue just because they're 20's. I think the problem would be using 20x8 (or wider) wheel and fitting any decent size tire that would not be like riding on solid tires. If he went larger diameter to add some sidewall, the he starts to eat up "clearance" and could have a rub at full turn.

That's a just plain awful description. Talk about "negative vibes". By stating he won't take less than 3k, but the wheels are tires are worth 2k, he's saying the car is worth $500. Wow.

Why do people like that style of wheel?

Someone should make him an offer that he remove the wheels and then let the car sell for $500...

It definitely looks like he tried to roll the fender to avoid contact!

How can you garantee it rubs? Have you put 20's on a Q45 before? Why is everyone here so quick to dismiss anything other than the "norm"? I'm not saying I like the car but you guys are being ridiclous.

And that fender looks a lot more like a parking lot accident than someone trying to roll it. If any of you have tried to roll the front fenders on a q45 you would realize you can almost bend the metal with your hand, so it's very easy to do correctly.

Also, i don't know if you noticed or not but that's an active model with blown suspension, it hasn't been "lowered" it's just broke.

It's just a blinged out variation of the old Florenstar or Hammer rims that were hot in the early 90's and was the unofficial "Benz" rim to have whether if you had a Benz to put it on or not.

What's old is new again

Then I guarantee you it rubs.

Funny how extreme lowering also looks like broken suspension.

How can you garentee something rubs with out knowing the offset or wheel width? Stop being so damn ignorant. You can't garantee anything becuase A)You've never done it and B) You don't have enough information to know if it does or not.

Ouch!!! Car-culture has no bounds or limits...... someone will buy it and be over joyed!!! We've all done things to our cars that others would not approve of... I don't really like it, nor do I need too.

See you all in Phoenix next month.......

Quit confusing us with the facts.

"Will not take less than 3,000. The car is blue booked at $4,000, and the wheels and tires are worth about 2500. Car is sold as is"

Trolling for a sucker.

Key words. And just for kicks, My Q with 255/50/16 tires on the front and just a slight drop rubs at the front a bit on the links. So if my 16's rub, those 20's - on a blown suspension - have GOT to rub. I'm not against 20's on the right car, but the G50 isn't meant for it. [BTW I had the 255's before I lowered the car - I'm going to 235's in front]

I can't stand cars that have wheels that are overdone to the point where all you notice is 'rims' not 'car'. Have an F50? 20's will work. 300c? 20's will work. SUV? 20's will work. I mean hell, if the wheels are worth $2000, why not sell them, go back to piepans for a bit and use the $2000 to get the damned active suspension fixed?

18's>20's

I've done it.

265/40/18's (Pirelli P-Zeros) rub on full lock with Eibachs (which are a very slight, non-radical drop).

I've never put 44" Mudders on a 240sx before either - But I guarantee you it would rub (and ruin the handling).

Just because someone's never done something doesn't mean they don't know the implications of it.

I've never shot myself in the eye with a bb gun, but I can say unwequivocally that it would hurt.

those rims are WAY over the top. thats the only thing you see when looking at the car,,,,rims should enhance the look of the car,,,not BECOME the look.
