Car: installing stereo systems and minor performance upgrades

Post

Well tonight fired up a cigar and turned on the dj equipment and decided to paint my brake calipers to add alil more sex appeal to my baby. I wished it didn't end up soo bright red but eh what can you do. I think this is the first time i've showed my car lowered and with its 7 spokes on. So whats everyone think.

And btw which do you guys like better the 7 or the 5 spoke wheels?(the 5spokes definatly need tires with a higher sidewall)

That last picture was sorta off topic but i like my dj stuff so tough lol

umm larger of the 7spoke with the brakes i'll post them up in a afew minutes.. damn dialup:( . the headlights drivers side is like a year old(wrecked the car) the passenger side i sanded down with 1000, then 2000 grit wet sanding and then misted it with afew coats of clear coat.

The cd player i just bought like 2 weeks ago and love it. Its an american audio dcd1000, has 9 built in effects( flange, echo, phase, etc) and your able to digitally scratch a cd like you could a vinyl. The scratching techniques with it takes some getting use to. check out http://www.pssl.com they have everything a mobile dj could ever need and use at pretty well the best prices i've seen in any catalog or site. umm only thing with my dcd1000 its not mp3 capable but there are ones by gemini and denon that will read mp3 cds.

charlie- tokico jsport 5way adjustables and the springs are believed to be neuspeeds. bought a parts car that had the spring/shock combo on it.

bleh, put me down for the 5-spokes... the 17"s just show too much fender-well.... I'm not a big fan of 'transparent' wheel/brake combo's...

yeah the vrd-5's(the 5spoke 17's) came with such a crappy tire, i'm hoping sometime soon i can get some tires for them with a higher sidewall to fill the fenders and reduce the risk of blowing them out from potholes. so for now the 15'' 7 spokes work perfect for me .
