So I ordered my swift springs, AGX shocks and strut mounts. After a few hours including a stop for lunch, all four wheels sat on the ground with the fronts looking like something broke. I had bought the camber adjusting cam bolts and they didn't work for beans. Not to mention they are MUCH smaller than stock (8mm). Then it hit me. 14mm is .550 and 1/2" is obviously .500 (actualy a few thousants short, .491) I replaced the top strut to spindle bolt with a grade 8 1/2 flange bolt and nut, pried out the top of the spindle and torqued to 105 flt lbs (13 pitch) and presto. Problem nearly solved. It reduced from about 5 degrees neg to 1 1/4. With in spec but still much. A touch of grinding on the upper bolt holes fine tuned the camber to a cool 1/2 degree neg.
My swifts lowered the car .8" in the front. Many kits use a greater lowering amount but if one 1/2" bolt is good for .8" then two (the lower bolt) should cover almost all springs. If not, 12mm will give you another degree adjustment over the 1/2". Make sure you use gr 12.9 or better with a smaller bolt. 7/16 is about an 11mm equivelant and a bit small for my taste. I'd use an aircraft grade 8+ fine pitch with a 7/16 as it has to be torqued a great deal to hold the camber tight.
On a side note. The AGX's are set on 3 front and 5 rear and feel great. Stiffer than stock but not overly. A bit of bump steer from the now to short rear traction arm (Battleversion rear upper arms) but soon to fix that.
