Lower (Transmission) harness for S13

My speedo and reverse lights don't work on my RB25DET powered S13 b/c I don't have a lower harness hooked up to my transmission. it's a long story, but the original one from the KA24DE was shredded in the swap. will the lower harness from an S13 blacktop SR work? No speedo and reverse lights is getting anoying.

there are only 6 transmission wires in total. 2 speed, 2 reverse, and 2 neutral. just get any wire and run those to the proper locations. you don't really need a harness from any car in particular. to answer your question, probably. plugs might not fit directly so you'll prolly do some soldering though.

Thanks Gawdz, but where do the wires go from the transmission? Is there a connector somewhere that they should plug into?

i'm not sure about the 13 chassis, but on the 14, they go near the fuse box by the battery. theres a row of connectors that handle speedo, reverse, neutral, etc. basically you need to get your 6 wires over there and somehow hook it up.

check the s13 fsm for where those connectors are.
