the damn thing wont come off! ive tried a puller, pry bars, puller and pry bars, hammering on gear and on pry bars behind it, a cutting torch, heating it up, everything except cutting it off. i havnt just cut it off because i cant get another one in huntsville. ive tried everywhere. my car wont be going to college with me for sure now (no time left) but i still need to fix it so if someone could shed some light on this i would love them forever (in a non-homosexual sort of way)

drill two holes on either side of the crankshaft, tap them, and use a thick metal bar and 2 screws

but will it be out of balance to the point where i cant use it again? i guess that all depends on me and my mad drilling/tapping skillz!

just drill, tap, pull it off, then buy a new one. Yes, that will throw it irreparably out of balance. Here's the part info, straight from the sticky:

crank sprocket - 13021-D4200 - $29.26woodruff key - 00926-51900 - $1.02crankshaft plate (behind sprocket) - 13022-42L00 - $1.78
