Does the lower tie bar and the lower strut bar serve the same purpose? Every lower strut bar i've seen has looked kinda flimsy. Where does the lower tie bar attach??

I think tie bar and strut bar are the same thing. Aer you thinking of swaybars/anti-roll bars??

I dont know where either attaches...

After a search on ebay, it seems rear lower strut bar and a tie bar are the same. The lower strut bar/tie bar fit on the bottom of the frame ( under the dif) from what i can figure

I would highly suggest focusing your money on greater bang items. Such as coilovers, roll bars, adjustable arms, etc.

If you need something cheap and effective then opt for some sways.
