hey guys

im preparing to install my B&M and upon removing the shift boot and the rubber boot below it the bottom most boot that holds the shifter is torn, and i can see inside where the c-ring and the connections are its kinda oily and its oily around it too, is that the transimssion oil thats around it or does it have its own oil. because im thinking maybe some leaked out that way then and i should check if its still full

o_O

tnx

it should just pull off to get the shifter out you need some snap ring pliers to get the snap ring off and then it just pulls out you cant really take it apart.

to get the new lower shift boot on yoo unscrew the shift knob, lube it up, and pull the boot over the shifter from the top down. it will stretch more than a woman giving birth.
