so I bought a new upper and lower hose for the KA24DE motor to use on the CA, seeing as they're supposed to work. When I went to match up the lower hose, it doesn't look like it'll work at all. I tried flipping the hose around and turning it in all directions, and it just won't fit up. the upper one I bought is a little long(like 2 inches) but I can make that work. anyone else have this problem?

I bought mine at Checkers/autozone. They were goodyear and the bottom hose fit right up. You will have to bend it a bit but it should work. Do you have the little coupler with the temp sensor in it? That will give you an extra 2 inches or so.

You do know that the lower radiator hose doesn't connect to the thermostat housing, right?

I was hoping someone would say that. Cause I thought I had my hoses mixed up.

yeah, I know, it's a bad picture, I'm just showing the realation of where the hose reaches...the W/P inlet is only a few inches from the thermo housing. I'm not that inept.

EDIT; I think I'm just gonna strech it.

LOL, I wasn't implying anything, just clarifying. I'm pretty sure I just stretched mine a bit and it fits fine.
