i have a 90 240sx with ka24de. for some odd reason my lower pulley started grinding on my front sway bar. im not sure which pulley it is but its really annoying and im pretty sure its not good lol.. it only does when i turn and when i hit bumps. i think it my be the tensioner pulley but any ways, what might be the problem? engine mounts? and by the way, i have a lowering kit but i dont think thats whats causing it. please help

I have an S14 but it be pretty much teh same under there. That pulley is the A/C tensioner pulley. I would check motor mounts and swaybar. If the motor mounts have collapsed then i suppose it might be possible for the engine to sit that low or the sway bar mounts could be broke allowing da bar to rise up or something like that. And moar pictars please if it's not one of those two things.

haha check your motor mounts. Ive seen the mounts deteriorate over time making the engine sit lower and become closer to the sway bar. Or you could have a bent sway bar or bracket for idler pulley.

the motor mounts is a possible reason but by the way the pics look it seems to me that you might be using a wrong size ac bel its too darnnn big. get a smaller belt thats an order

easy with the orders sarge...that is definitly motor mounts...you can tell by how low the oil pan looks in comparison to the sway bar. or the sway bar is bent...look how far away mine is from the sway barits not even close
