lower harness questions

1. I took the lower harness off today to hook up the knock sensor. On my lower harness I noticed that the wire (yellow w\ white stripe) that goes to the oil pressure sensor wasn't hooked up to anything. Is that supposed to be hooked up somewhere?

2. The big gray plug that plugs into the alt. It has one thick white wire and I think white w\ red stripe. I noticed that the white w\ red stripe wasn't hooked up to anything. Is this wire also supposed to be connected somewhere?
