ok ok ok here we go, im started the wiring on my car, and took apart the lower harness to prep it, and basically after going over it, i realise i dont need most of it, just i THINK, alternator harness, going to relay panel, a line from my battery going from my which is in the back, to the starter, a ground coming off the starter, and a positive jumper between the starter and alternator ? the reason i dont need other stuff like oil psi and yadda, is since i use standalone it bypasses everything anyway, and i am running aftermarket gauges (IDK WTF i am going to do about fuel level sigh) any input, am i missing something ? do i need more ? i have pics i will post oversized as usual !!
the ecu has no knowledge of the fuel level. it's a separate system so that should still work unless you really screwed something up
oh and don't forget to wire up the reverse lights and the speedo. reverse lights are separate from the ecu. i think the speedo signal is sent to the cluster and the ecu normally, so you'd just want to send it to the cluster at the least. you probably don't need the neutral sensor wired.
