LOWER HARNESS = FUBAR

ok well since nothing on my project is simple, after i did my wire tuck and went through the harness fixxing all bad wiring, i start to find out which wires i need to extend, and realise NONE of my plugs from the lower harness match up !! nice !! awesome !! basically i have a s14 that was automatic, so it does have the jumper cable on the plug that routes it back into it self. first problem

1) Since i have battery in back i got a wire going to a terminal post i mounted in the front of the car, bam there is power at stud ! now how should i wire the starter, the alternator, and the power from relay box to this ? i could but them on the bottom of the stud with ring terminals but they are so huge i think it ight touch chassis, i was gunna get like a bar with 4 studs and use that with the ring termials on each stud but idk





2) All the plugs that plug in from the lower harnes to the relay panel i have in my hand, since i am running a standalone i dont need a bunch of them, i figure just the starter, and alternator, and someoen told me speed sensor, 5th gear sensor , and neutral position switch, ok now i only have the alternator, and starter plug, i do have the plugs that goto the transmission but they dont plug into my s14 relay box (*maybe since my motor was in a s13 first and that was auto also) i honestly dont care if they are optional all i need is the speed sensor cuz that goes to haltech, go i really need those other 2 plugs !! i can get pics of the lower trans wiring but its all fubar and it goes to liek 4 other plugs

1) put some lotion on your hands...2) wire the starter to the alternator, then run 1 wire from your alt to your + source3) look at a wiring diagram for the s14 and relay box. you want to send the reverse lights to the relay box. speed you send throgh the relay box. ditch the neutral. there is no 5th it's not an SR

awesome idea for starter and alternator , imma gunna look through my s14 fsm and see if i can figure that out but yeah thats badass, , is there a ground from the relay box to somewhere ? and grrrr on the lotion the wires are dirty and my garage is cold

haha it's not that revolutionary... that's how it is from the factory.

the entire body is a ground.
