hello and thx for replying. i was told i need 2 lower control arms, when i asked why they showed me where oil(it looked like) was leaking. it was leaking from the part has a big rubber part at the end of it. the diameter of the part that was leaking was about 5in and it was both arms...

Yes the tension rods are connected to the lower control arm by two studs with bolts.a cheaper and in my opinion better alternative would be to buy adjustable tension rods-they are solid and are able to adjust caster with then and have no play so they will for the most part never wear out.i know you can use 240sx and 300zx tension rods on older q45's but not sure on the newer ones,il see what I can find.

Coincidentally, I saw a silicon grease drip from one of my lower bushings. I bet some will be in my future sooner than later.

You shoild be able to order just the tension rod bushings from www.everythinginfiniti.com and have your local tech press out the old/press in the new bushing into your existing tension rods.....go to the website and get phone number and CALL them to inquire about the cost of the bushing.....they were only $30-35 each when I last ordered mine for the 96Q. Your local tech should only charge you around $15-20 each to press them in while the car is already on the lift for other servicing like an oil change, etc.
