Front or Rear?

Are they oem control arms or are they adjustable units with solid joints?

Heres a writeup for adjustable front lower control arms:http://www.nicoclub.com/archiv....html

Heres a writeup for replacing the rear lower ball joints. It should give you some ideas for the rear lower control arms.http://www.nicoclub.com/archiv....html

Just make sure you follow proper safety precautions when jacking up the car and working on it. Best of luck!

Hahaha, my thoughts exactly. I'm willing to bet they don't fit because you bought cheap ebay parts. You might need to adjust something though. Pictures could help if you still need us.

IIRC the s14 rear lower control arm is a little different in dimension from the s13. If you have the wrong one it could cause fitment issues. Or if your subframe is a little tweaked. Also no name ebay arms arent known for their quality fitment.

welds look bad..don't ride too rough keep the Tokyo drifting to a minimum or things might esplode. other than that if the silver bushing cylinders are too big then grind them down to fit or cut them some how. If they are not tight after that then you may want to add washers as spacers until the bushing is tight against the factory frame mount. gl

Wow

why did you buy these anyway, it looks like your only aftermarket suspension piece, they don't look good either, and don't try Jimmy rigging it with washers. Get a refund and press some new sentra ball joints in your stock arms.

And it's people like you that impede the transfer of otherwise viable information.

Thank you for the thread, I was actually wondering what the quality of these arms were.

For the suspension geometry minded out there, what is the benefit of adjusting where the ball joint sits? Roll center? This piece seems slightly adjustable, but maybe it's just how the piece is designed. Other than the heim joint replacing the ball joint, I fail to see how these offer any upgrade to the stock pieces.

Yeah, It's the adjustment in roll center.Only helpful to cars that are slammed, useless for otherwise stock cars.I heard most of the heim joints used in these things are junk though.

One thing you can do though, is to buy some PBM aluminum bushings, those raise your subframe as high as possible, about half an inch. That should keep you guys from snapping axles with those crazy drifts you guys do.

I see, thanks for the explanation!

Maybe next round of upgrades I'll get some subframe risers. I have the slip-in ones now, but only because they came on the car. I jacked my car up by my diff this past weekend and placed a jackstand under the frame rail. when I let the jack down I saw my subframe move about 1/2" before it settled. It's about time for some sort of fix back there haha.

some people are griping like he's spending your money. But good luck man and make sure that that C.A. has no play and hope it.s a sturdy part. Be careful dont trust the beauty of a 240 to a cheap part man and have fun modding.

Gezz just chill out.

I don't like those welds so I wouldn't put those on my car.
