Lower Ball Joints

I am trying to replace my rear lower ball joints on my S13 Silvia but when I put the nut on the ball joint, the whole bolt moves. How do I stop the bolt from turning so I can put the nut on. I tried using a pnuematic impact wrench but it didn't work. Please help me out. Thanks.

use a floor jack to push the control arm/ball joint into the spindle. It will put force on it so it wont spin then use a wrench to tighten it up.

hey, tried that, still the bolt turned..i heard that was a sign of a bad ball joint. true? let me know. thanks.
