When pressing in the aluminum subframe bushings, once all are in, can you still install the bracket that attaches to the nut on the bottom of the subframe mount and, I believe, the frame rail?

Or do you just not install it?

I haven't bought the aluminum ones.

I planned on making them, and wasn't sure if they maintain use of the bottom bracket.

On a second note, would you be able to give me dimensions of the bushing once you recieve them?

sure but like i said.. its gonna take me at least another 2 weeks..(in other words 2weeks).

the bills came in last week(Cell, Insurance, etc...ones i pay) so if your willing to wait that longill be glad to give the dimensions to you..but since your planing on making it.. you could always carve the indentation into the aluminum piece.. i mean.. i doubt it will make it any weaker.

Yes, but companies like PDM don't include the identation.

I'll have to just look around and try to find an installed set of thse bushings.

yes this thread is 2 months old but I wanted to answer the question for the next viewer

- yes you should install the lower brackets back inbetween the mounting nut and aluminum subframe bushings - as the bracket is steel and alot harder than aluminum (for torque if nothing else) - plus it protects the leftover threads from getting hit by say a rock or whatever.

I have my dimensions for my revised subframe bushings - but you have to buy a set so you can copy them

I would not copy the ebay knock offs if I were you - they are not to good if you ask me.Here are our newly design Solid Subframe Bushing Kit (free extras) http://www.NIPerformance.org
