I Just bought my 91 Q(i test drove it and fell in love!) after i lost my 93 maxima . The low washer warning came on about a week ago and i instantly added washer fluid. The warning is still there and i don't know why. does anyone here have an idea why this would happen? its not a major problem, just an annoyance i'd like to fix.

Sensor probably got stuck. Pull the plastic shroud off and wiggle it to ensure free movement.

This is very interesting to me as I didn't know there was a warning light.

Is it in the dash information panel? Maybe it was omitted on the later 1994-1996 Q45?

Thanks, I keep mine topped, so I never have seen the message.

I was afraid it would run dry and fry the pump.

I need to clean or replace the washer nozzles on the Q. *sigh*

[unrelated]I remember buying a used Mazda and having mustard (yes the condiment) shoot out of the nozzles and into the cabin through the sunroof.

(this should prove my OCDness about thigns).. I know about this because I flushed my washers out last summer... Got the message, and looked in the res, and there was still quite a bit... enough i guess....

What kind of retard flushes their washer fluid.....??? Moreover, what do the neighbors think when somoene is in the driveway with his washers going for 5 mins straight.....

the reservoir is huge, too. i emptied almost a whole bottle of fluid into mine when the light came on, and i still could have put more in.
