well ive had this in the back of my mind for a while but i was thinking about it today and maybe yall could explain it to me. My vac when i was NA was around -.72 hkpa. My vac now that i am turbo is -.45 hkpa. Any explanations as to why?

wouldnt know where to start as i checked all the lines......... but even still, when i was NA it wasnt too strong to begin with tho.....any ideas?

Like structure said, vacuum leak. It is a valid idea. Get an airhose and pressurize your system and see if you get any leaks. You can also try spraying carb cleaner around your connections, if the RPM rises, youve got a leak.

ill try the carb cleaner thing. any idea on why its so low tho? i mean thats about -5 psi if not less.....would the car still run normal at that low of vac?

What about your idle speed, same as when you were NA?

I made a boost leak tester and it cost me like 3 bucks, something that everyone should have. It will find even the smallest vacuum leak from a tiny hose you cant even see behind the engine where you cant reach it and piss you off, but at least you know its there.

Do you have a BOV? obvious question, but it warrants answering... also, you might need 2 of them? I don't know what they are flowing these days, it used to be common to make more boost than they could let go of.

What does that have to do with his vaccuum leak? Unless you are implying that his BOV could be leaking at idle, if he didn't have it recirculated...
