Hey Guys, New to the forum. When I go out to do the next photoshoot, I'll fire a few of my car.

My question is, the low pressure indicator has lit up. I've added air to the tire in question and the indicator is still on. Is this something that has to be reset by the dealership or should it turn off by itself?

Thanks much for all your help.

Marek

Welcome to NICO!

How far have you driven it since the adding air? It should go off after a few miles/km's (sorry didn't see what country you're posting from)

Are all your tires set exactly to the manufacturer specs?

Have you had your tires changed or rotated recently?

the tire pressure light will go out by itself. You donot need to take it to the dealership. how much air did u put in? In cold weather tire psi reduces by 2-3 psi

I've put the air in myself at roughly 50psi, mind you this is one of those crappy gas station guages which are not all that accurate. I did not check the pressure in the other tires which I should have. I added the air in about 3 days ago and the light is still there. I'll check the rest of the tires today and see what happends

Thanks for the help!

Holy crap 50psi!!

Ummm...should be 35psi to my knowledge!

Definitely invest $20 in a proper PSI gauge.

This is your baby...look after her!! Besides...tires are expensive as hell if you don't maintain them properly!!

hey right next to the drivers seat, you can see what the manufacturer's recommended psi is. I only put 33-34 psi. 50 seems to be way too much. Just check next to the drivers seat to be sure. U dnt want ur tires to run over inflated. It also depends on the width of your tires.

Welcome to NICO

Never rely on gas station air pressure gauges

Invest in a good quality tire pressure gaude

http://www.amazon.com/Moroso-8...r=1-1

You can find cheaper ones but read the reviews. Usually buying cheap means you are going to buy twice.

35lbs when cold. The tire pressure warning light will go out usually within 200 miles. You can do the math conversion to km

I was going by the recommended pressure on the tire itself. You guys are right. I will correct this as soon as I'm off work...which is right about now

Thanks for the time.

Ooo, that'll be fun releasing 25 psi in all four tires. Hope it's warm out.

If I'm not mistaken, the PSI rating on the tire itself is the max rating.

Im also new to the forums and had the same problem with my G after a couple times of trying to figure out why my light wouldnt go off i gave up and took her into the dealer...They checked and disinflated all 4 tires and reinflated and light went off about a day later came back on so i went back and my service manager said thats it im oredering a new set of rims and tires come back by the end of the week?!

I didnt argue but boy did i have some fun before the end of the week was up ...he also said to keep tires at about 5 psi over the reccomended no more no less

Really? Ordered new rims and tires?? We're they warped?

I would think they would replace the TPMS sensor before going that expensive route!
