Does anyone else see the low engine coolant temp warning come on for a few minutes after a "cold" start? I'm a little worried that it's doing that in 90 degree weather. It does go away after a minute or two, but it seems weird. What's it going to do in the winter?

(We have a SL w/ CVT)

This is normal for all cars. Most take a few minutes to warm up the coolant even in 100 degree temperature. I am not sure with the Versa, but normal on my Xterra is 170. The Versa is the 1st car I have had with this "Info" light, I guess it is there because of a lack of a temp gauge to let you know when you are within the normal operating parameters. Nothing to worry about. It is in the owners manual. Take it easy on the car until the blue light turnes off.

Just for a point of refference, my light is on for about a minute in the mornings at 80 and for about 15 seconds in the evening at 100.

Nothing to say just thought a year old thread should be brought back to life on 7/31 I do love my versa, first car in a long time i could say that about. I have had numerous types of cars (sports, suv, sedan, luxury) through the years and I find the versa handles as good if beeter than most (the nsx had a little somethin on the versa) its comfort level and design is awesome. Versa's rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
