Low Speed Hesitation - sometimes

I need an educated guess to my problem. I say educated, because I am not in a position to pay for service, so I am planning to troubleshoot any of the receommedations myself. Here is my problem:

When idling the car runs fine, but accelerating at times I feel a hesitation/surging up to about 20-25 mph and then it is fine. It seems to be worse on rainy/humid days. I have 124K miles on my 94 Q45 and changed the plugs at about 70K. I have not changed the O2 sensor.

I know I am asking alot, but I'm trying to get the top 2 or 3 reasons for the hesitation. I have plugs and am ready to change them, but was hoping for a few other suggestions.

Any help would be appreciated. Any one wanna take an educated guess?
