Is it me or the ABS in the A/C hinders the tires capacity to brakes at lowspeeds on ice. seems that when it kicks in you can't apply full brake pressure untill the tires grips at something, but since they don't the brakes never full apply...they just pulsate. I know supposedly thats the best way to brake at highspeeds when sliding. but for lowspeeds that just made my car go straight through an intersection where I wanted to stop. was real scary.
it can't be my tires, because I'm on brand new winter tires.I'd like to disable abs just to see if that helps low ice speed braking
