I notice that between 1-3.5k rpms, it seams to be a little flat during acceleration, like around town. If I floor it it seams to be ok, but with just a little throttle it seams a little flat sometimes.??? Could this be the fuel filter? I need to replace some things(cap rotor wires...etc) Any ideas greatly appreciated.thanks

no its def not normal, it just doesn't have the pick up that it should, but this only happens some times... most of the time it will rev quick and pull hard... I just got a new fuel filter yesterday, I am going to see if that makes a diff when I get a chance to put it in...

break out a voltmeter and take a look at some of your sensor outputs, like air flow meter ,coolant temp sensor and o2[best you can it moves pretty fast] The way I read your story it sounds like it might be getting a bit to much fuel under part throttle operation.
