Has anyone used this jack? I can't find reviews about it. It is a good price for a low profile jack... I am tempted to get it.http://www.summitracing.com/pa...large

I thought you're not suppose to jack the car from the "frame rails"....

every time i jack my car up its either the frame or the diff housing, on rare occasions id lift it from the bottom of the suspension, again rare ocasions. but the specs on that jack are way better than anything at walmart. probably better than oriely too

Why cant your jack it from the frame rails? iirc... it seems like there is a jack point right behind the front wheels. Most cars have one there anyway... I will be sad if the s13 doesnt.

Let me clarify my post...

That jack posted doesn't look like it had slits for the requested lifting points. If it doesn't, why get it?

You'll crush the rails.

Well damn... I am not low yet so I can fit most jacks all the way back to the cross member from under the front bumper... but barely. I will be going low soon. How am I supposed to jack it up then? Your car looks pretty slammed, pandapants... how do you do it? and how do you let it back down?

To be honest, my OEM jack works fine. Slides in snug w/ 17s but I need to roll up on wood planks when I'm on my teardrops or if the ground is warped.

I have never jacked my car from the crossmember, simply b/c my car is too low. My crossmember is something like 1in from the ground, and if there were even a jack small enough to fit under it, it wouldn't even fit past my sway bar or oil pan.

If you're cheap go to Harbor Freight.

I don't even use a low profile jack. If need be, just roll up onto a couple 2x4s.
