Hey all,

I like many have got that bad vibration happening right around 50 mph. I know many on here have said that rather than redo the center bearing, that they (and you) should just go to a 1 piece drive shaft - in part because the center bearing is ~$150.

Well I stumbled across this site which is selling it for <$60 (however it looks like I may have bought the last one as they are now out of stock) -

Since I may at some point swap the auto for a 5-speed, I didn't want to spend the money on the single shaft now. Also, since this is my toy car I doubt I'll ever wear the new bearing out (had the car for about a year now and have only put < 2000 miles on her).

I've read some threads on making the repair, but any advice on how to install it is appreciated. But mainly just wanted to share this low price part with others who may be trying to decide which way to go with this common problem.
