MY FX STARTED ACTING UP LAST NIGHT.
AS I WAS DRIVING IT GAVE ME A ZERO MILES LEFT TO THE TANK WARNING. SO I KNEW FOR SURE THERE WAS AT LEAST A HALF OF A TANK OF GAS BUT I DECIDED TO GO MAKE SURE.
I WENT AND TOPPED IT OFF (PREMIUM OF COURSE) AND IT WAS ON POINT TO WHAT I LEFT IT($50.00). SO I CONCLUDED THERE WAS PLENTY OF GAS JUST THE METER WAS TELLING ME ZERO WHEN THERE WAS ABOUT HALF TANK FULL!
AFTER IT WAS FULL THE METER SHOT BACK UP. SO I JUST DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON.
IS THIS A COMMON ISSUE? HAS ANYONE ELSE ENCOUNTERED THIS PROBLEM?

I've heard some other FX owners talk about problems with the computer regarding MPG, and miles to empty... I'd bring it up with service at your next trip in - if for no other reason than to have it documented...

The 03/04 M45 has issues with the gas gauge giving the incorrect amount, the problem was either the fuel sending unit and/or a bad instrument gauge cluster. Contact Infiniti for more information, the issue may be a carry over problem.
