Has any had problems with low oil pressure, ie around 20psi at full revs?

No. I am using the stock Z32 gauge and sender in my car and it only got as low as maybe 15-20 PSI at idle.

Yea seems very low. The engine is out a jet boat with with twin VH45DE engines, the other engine has plenty of pressure.

Have stripped part of the engine now, oil pump looks fine aswell does the bearing clearances. Dont know where else the pressure can be lost???

A potential problem could be the crank pulley bolt. The oil pump is driven by being clamped down by the crank pulley. Could just be that the bolt isn't tightened down enough and is allowing a bit of slip.

Torque specs according to the FSM:

353-373 Nm36-38 kg/m260-275 ft/lb

Did you use a new sump? Ive seen the oil pans get dented, even just a little and it restricts the pickup...

Wouldnt mind seeing some pics of the setup...

+1. You need to check this along with the pickup tube.
