low oil pressure

my oil light is coming on very dim sporadically, could a not so tight crank pulley bolt cause low oil pressure? or what else could it be

you might want to check ur oil level. if the oil is a little low, the oil pump might have trouble pickin up the oil, therefore turnin on the light. Check the level, if the level is low, add oil to the right level and it should go away. the oil pump will not have trouble pickin up oil and the light should not come on anymore. Good luck

O forgot to add, loose crank pulley has nothing to do with ur oil system. that would not affect ur oil pressure.

yeah i remember the pump is run by the crank it has two slots, but i hooked up a gauge to check oil pressure and it was fine, bad sensor.
