My oil pressure starts high (above 60 on stock gauge) when the car is cold, but that's to be expected since the oil is cold still. However once the car is entirely warmed up, the gauge reads something crazy low at idle (somewhere from 2-5 probably). When I'm just cruising once already up to temps it's only reading around 10-15ish, and when I'm driving more... "spirited-ly"... it only seems to reach about 30. The Z32 specialist I used to take my car to told me cruising should be around 30 and when I'm going hard it should peak around 60. Are these estimates he gave me accurate? Also what do you all think the issue is here?

They are estimates but you should also take into account that the factory sensor and gauge aren't always as accurate as one would like and if you still have the original sensor it may be time to swap it out for a new one.

Thanks, I'm thinking/hoping its just the oil pressure sending unit... seeing as they're like $80ish on Z1 that'd be pretty nice. If not, hopefully the connector, boot, or harness for the oil pressure sending unit since they're cheap too. Just trying to gauge what everyone on here thinks to see how likely the consensus is that it could be this vs. something much more expensive
