Haven't done logging my milege since I got new wheels and tires. From stock wheels and tires I did an inch up and now I have 215/45/17.

I was astonished to find 18 miles per gallon.

Need some help trouble shooting this.

Please gimmi some advices to start with.

1) Your new wheels are MUCH heavier than stock ones, this means you're wasting more power turning your driveline instead of moving your car, e.g. less milage.

2) Your new tires are probably more grippy than your old tires, meaning your new tires have a higher Ff (force of friction), thus your car expends more energy at any given speed to overcome that friction, ergo worse milage.

So, you've got a double whammy going for you. My personal suggestion would be to get wheels that are actually an upgrade (read: light weight), since otherwise you're slowing your car down, making the milage worse and reducing handling ability.

handling got a lot better with these wheels and tires even without suspension mods.

My wheels are Falken Azenis. Not much weight difference with stock ones. People knows Falken Azenis wheels as very light wheels.

Hankook H405s are not as grippy as you may think. I wish these were. They are only bigger.
